This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• You will collaborate closely with various teams across our organization to help create campaigns and processes that align with our ambitious objectives.
• In addition to standard marketing communications, we also provide email, SMS, and push messaging services for our customers as part of our product offerings.
• You will oversee marketing outbound efforts (in close partnership with the sales team), inbound strategies, and customer newsletters, while the overall strategy will be developed in conjunction with the VP of Marketing.
• When necessary, you may be responsible for writing copy for email and SMS campaigns, as well as crafting consistent and targeted messages for our diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to execute trigger-based communications for our clients.
• Leverage the out-of-the-box functionality and reporting features available within our technology stack.
• Assist in creating a data-driven test and learn program that helps us formulate recommendations and strategies based on both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Assess the performance of marketing automation and customer journeys, report on outcomes, and share insights to inform business decisions.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in marketing automation.
• 2 years of experience in B2B marketing (bonus: experience in the HRTech or recruitment industry).
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Familiarity with some or all of our key technology stack: Customer.io, Segment, Twilio, Pipedrive, and Webflow.
• Proficient in email development using HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
• Expertise in creating complex audience segments and developing email/SMS campaign logic (ensuring the right message reaches the right people at the right time).
• Experience in collaborating with and recognizing effective design, meaning you can identify when something aligns with brand standards and can create or configure email templates accordingly.
• Proven ability to develop audience insights that shape marketing strategies, approaches, or campaigns.
• Capable of juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing workload in a dynamic environment.
• Represent Weirdly and our products with a high level of professionalism.
• Understanding and practical experience with key concepts such as domain/IP reputation, industry-standard performance metrics for email & SMS, partial list testing, and quality control process design.
• Bonus: Any experience with Adobe suite tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or Sketch, primarily for asset manipulation/creation, though this is not strictly necessary.
