Marketing and Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop impactful, data-driven marketing materials, including content creation, layout design, and visual aesthetics, in accordance with brand guidelines.

• Oversee the daily management of CivicScience’s social media channels, crafting engaging posts, designing infographics, and tracking community engagement to enhance brand visibility and polling participation.

• Serve as the main internal resource for urgent design requests, creating visually compelling graphics that simplify complex data into comprehensible charts and infographics.

• Collaborate with the VP of Communications on content related to both inbound and outbound media inquiries.

• Work alongside Sales & Client Success to develop and refine client presentations and narratives.

• Administer marketing automation tools, oversee the company website, and manage the marketing calendar.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 - 2 years of experience in marketing or media; experience in advertising and/or ad tech is advantageous.

• Strong visual design and layout skills.

• Proficiency in Canva is essential; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

• Outstanding writing abilities with a knack for crafting persuasive narratives from data.

• Demonstrated experience in managing professional social media accounts and knowledge of platform-specific best practices.

• Proficient in Google Suite and experienced with Customer Relationship Management systems.

• A curious, resourceful self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple creative projects at once.
