This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop, initiate, and oversee a comprehensive range of Online Program Management (OPM) marketing services.
• Facilitate the expansion of WSU Global Campus online degree and certificate offerings.
• Construct marketing infrastructure, systems, and processes designed to attract, convert, and retain online learners at scale.
• Supervise brand strategy, digital marketing, enrollment marketing, market research, and performance analytics.
• Ensure that marketing services are in alignment with WSU’s mission, academic objectives, and revenue growth targets.
• Report directly to the Associate Vice President for the Global Campus.
• Collaborate with academic units, enrollment management, and central marketing teams.
• Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and assess measurable outcomes.
• Oversee digital marketing channels, external vendors, agencies, and strategic marketing partners.
• Establish or evaluate KPIs and leverage campaign data to guide decision-making.
• Handle multiple priorities, budgets, projects, and timelines.
• A Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible professional experience in public relations, marketing, print or broadcast media, or public relations.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a managerial role.
• Relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• A Master’s degree in a related field may replace up to one (1) year of the required experience.
• Experience with or ability to create, maintain, and enhance brand identity and reputation.
• Proven knowledge of effective strategies for engaging with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
• A minimum internet bandwidth of 4.0 Mbps for both upload and download is required for telework.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns that yield measurable results.
• Experience managing paid search, social media, email marketing, CRM-based campaigns, and web content strategy.
• Proficient in using marketing analytics and data to evaluate campaign success and inform decision-making.
• Experience overseeing external vendors, agencies, or strategic marketing partners.
• Demonstrated project management experience in managing multiple priorities, budgets, and timelines.
• Preferred: experience in developing digital marketing strategies specifically for higher education, online, or adult learners.
• Preferred: experience in establishing or analyzing KPIs.
• Preferred: background in higher education enrollment marketing.
• Preferred: success in creating lead-generation and enrollment-growth strategies.
• Preferred: familiarity with OPM organizations or OPM-related university functions.
• Preferred: understanding of student recruitment funnels, CRM systems like Slate or Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms.
• Preferred: experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and program launch planning.
• Not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
