Marketing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for Plume's comprehensive marketing strategy, encompassing brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning for product launches and partnerships.

• Develop, oversee, and mentor a marketing team that covers content, growth, community, and design/brand.

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to synchronize marketing strategy with fundraising, product roadmap, and business development priorities.

• Lead Plume's relationships with the press and analysts; serve as a principal external spokesperson alongside the executive leadership team.

• Manage brand and campaign strategy for significant launches, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at institutional stakeholders.

• Establish and monitor marketing KPIs (awareness, community growth, campaign performance, pipeline influence) and report findings to leadership.

• Ensure that marketing content and claims are appropriately reviewed with Legal/Compliance due to the risk associated with securities-adjacent messaging.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role, preferably within the crypto, fintech, or other regulated/technical sectors.

• Proven track record in developing brand and demand generation strategies for rapidly growing technical products.

• Strong executive presence; experience in representing a company to the press, analysts, and institutional partners.

• Excellent strategic thinking abilities; capable of translating company strategy into a prioritized and resource-allocated marketing plan.

• Outstanding writing and storytelling skills, particularly in translating complex technical and financial concepts for diverse audiences.
