Market Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across both CDE and INTX.

• Explore and address customer inquiries regarding exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology.

• spearhead frontline support for internal and external investigations related to exchange operations, including the analysis and resolution of erroneous trades.

• Collaborate with product and development teams to introduce new products, carry out platform updates, and perform deployment testing in pre-production settings.

• Assist with the onboarding and continuous operational enablement of clients and vendors, including setting up connectivity and troubleshooting issues.

• Recognize and suggest process enhancements that align with business growth goals and bolster exchange operational reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a similar technical discipline, with over 1 year of experience in financial market operations or a technical operations position.

• Established product and operational expertise in listed futures or options, including practical experience with erroneous trade analysis and resolution.

• Demonstrated capability to diagnose and resolve intricate production issues across trading and clearing platforms, effectively communicating root causes and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience overseeing support across various channels (voice, email, chat) with a proven track record of maintaining quality in high-volume, time-sensitive situations.

• Knowledge of prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, SQL, or CRM tools like Salesforce and JIRA.

• Employs generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and enhance workflow efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
