This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Lead and articulate Cigna’s strategically unique clinical value proposition to employers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Shape clinical strategies by utilizing market segmentation, outcomes and affordability analytics, insights from THI and finalist meetings, as well as dynamics of broker and consultant engagement.
• Support Growth Leaders by establishing and nurturing robust relationships with clinical stakeholders at client organizations, consultants, and local market associations.
• Collaborate with market sales teams to emphasize product and Cigna’s clinical differentiation.
• Co-create and execute market-segmented and tailored strategic client roadmaps.
• Attend client meetings to deliver clinical analysis on outcomes, experiences, and affordability.
• Represent Cigna in external industry and local market events, acting as a clinical ambassador.
• Communicate and reinforce Cigna’s clinical policies and expectations to employers.
• Provide in-services for the sales team regarding clinical programs and services, which include behavioral, medical, pharmacy, and vendor partnerships.
• Assist the sales team in developing effective presentation teams for brokers and clients to enhance messaging.
• Collaborate with Product leaders to promote client retention, growth, and product penetration.
• Transform market needs into opportunities for innovation by identifying trends and gathering feedback from clients, brokers, clinicians, industry analysis, and regional partners.
• Identify potential product or policy innovations through external physician advisory panels.
• Identify and/or assist clients or other partners as candidates for pilot studies.
• Serve as a clinical resource to create opportunities that enhance employer value and drive enterprise growth.
• Participate in special projects as the clinical expert representing the market to support critical business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce solutions to the market.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the State.
• Current Board Certification: primary care preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare business environment and/or Health Plan.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a heavily matrixed, diverse, and inclusive organization.
• Track record of achieving results that reflect strategic and tactical solutions.
• Strong skills in relationship building and influencing.
• Ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner to various audiences.
