This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Develops and implements marketing and sales strategies for the Data Centers segment focused on enhancing revenue and profit margins.
• Ensures the creation of business plans, annual sales strategies, and marketing initiatives that align with budgetary constraints.
• Directs the vertical go-to-market strategy by articulating value propositions, positioning, and commercial execution in harmony with global product marketing.
• Conducts market analysis and gathers intelligence to pinpoint customer requirements, industry trends, regulatory influences, and new growth possibilities.
• Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to connect with key decision-makers and meet segment sales objectives.
• Enhances customer relationships through segmentation, Voice of the Customer (VOC) initiatives, product training, and ongoing improvements in satisfaction metrics.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, or product marketing within the electrical industry is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend the variances in industry product performance requirements relevant to the product portfolio.
• Experience in customer relations through service, visits, and relationship building is required.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and analytical skills are necessary.
• Willingness to travel across the US as required.
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
