Market Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate demand for WinField United Proprietary Brands

• Provide agronomic training along with technical assistance

• Dedicate 75% of working hours to customer-facing responsibilities

• Aid in Field Trial Initiatives, Answer Plot, and Technical Marketing efforts

• Showcase and proficiently utilize digital tools such as the Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and fundamental data analytics applications

• Collaborate closely with internal Agronomists and the Marketing Team to formulate and disseminate strategic messaging

• Communicate agronomic and market insights from the retail perspective

• Partner with Account Managers and Customer Service Specialists to assist retail partners

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture

• At least 5+ years of agronomic or sales experience involving direct customer interaction

• Candidates with a 2-year diploma in agriculture and substantial industry experience will be taken into account

• Experience in ag retail or collaboration with ag retail partners is regarded as advantageous

• Strong interest in agronomy and a commitment to supporting independent ag retailers in their success

• Demonstrated capability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, employees, and management

• Proficient in creating and delivering engaging, informative, and educational technical presentations

• Experience in data analysis is viewed as beneficial

• Proven track record of addressing and resolving issues swiftly and effectively

• Competence in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
