This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify and cultivate new market opportunities within the defence sector to generate additional revenue streams.
• Build a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities to achieve long-term targets.
• Design and implement account-based growth strategies tailored for assigned prospects and clients.
• Foster executive relationships across Defence, the defence industry, and other essential stakeholders.
• Advocate for Capita’s defence strategy by involving technology, proposition, and capture teams early in the sales process.
• Spearhead engagement with new prospects and conduct initial qualification by aligning Capita's expertise with client requirements.
• Enhance Capita’s brand visibility, intellectual property, and services through strategic partnerships, client interactions, and thought leadership.
• Act as a representative for the company at defence events, industry forums, and client engagements.
• Provide insights on emerging trends and customer priorities to influence proposition development and market entry strategies.
• Identify and communicate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize value across the client portfolio.
• Significant experience in successfully selling to the UK Defence market, particularly in complex BPO and technology solutions.
• Established relationships and a robust customer network within the MOD, especially with Cyber & Specialist Operations Command and the NAD Group, as well as the broader defence industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of Government business development, MOD procurement processes, contract awards, current procurement trends, and customer purchasing behaviors.
• Proven history of driving consistent business growth year-over-year, achieving or surpassing targets, and leading new business initiatives.
• Experience handling opportunities valued between £30M and £500M+.
• Expertise in shaping opportunities and developing compelling, winning propositions in collaboration with partners, vendors, and consortium members.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• SC clearance as a minimum, or the ability to obtain it upon joining.
• Desirable: experience selling to a wider range of Government, security and intelligence, and national security organizations.
• A competitive base salary ranging from £105,000 to £120,000, along with a bonus and benefits package.
