This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Lead and oversee designated Outside and Inside Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate effectively with the Wholesale Market Area Manager.
• Achieve designated sales targets.
• Enhance and boost sales volume across all makes and models within the assigned region.
• Proactively seek orders at the Direct Account level by establishing inventories, encouraging line additions, and overseeing changeovers via LEEP and stocklift budgets.
• Assist in promoting ACDelco products and programs at both Direct and National Accounts.
• Identify and cultivate Independent Aftermarket sales opportunities, including Fleet sales.
• Explore new distribution channels at all levels to enhance ACDelco market penetration.
• Foster and develop engagement with DA Outside and Inside Sales Representatives (OSR & ISR).
• Coordinate with Direct Accounts and utilize the marketing budget to design and implement localized promotions to drive sales.
• Market national, regional, and local programs.
• Communicate and ensure compliance with ACDelco policies and procedures among Direct Accounts.
• Complete weekly updates, administrative tasks, special assignments, and other leadership requests related to competitive products, market conditions, and distribution activities in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide market insights to support forecasting and business planning.
• Gather input from internal and external customers to gain a better understanding of customer needs and perceptions.
• Maintain current customer profiles and records as per company guidelines.
• Attend conventions, special events, and trade shows as needed.
• Support all customer training initiatives.
• Stay informed about current product developments and market trends.
• Maintain a productive relationship with ACDelco PDCs.
• Monitor ACDelco warranty reduction initiatives and material returns/core credit activities, acting as a liaison between the customer and ACDelco to support control measures.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket is preferred.
• Experience in Outside Sales.
• Ability to prioritize and allocate resources to optimize opportunities.
• Strong customer relationship management and sales skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Business acumen with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Capable of articulating product line features and benefits.
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Proficient in developing and executing action plans.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Familiarity with GM parts systems.
• Proficient in computer software applications, including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Willingness to travel as required - up to 75%.
