This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Offer proactive, business-focused legal and compliance guidance on market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies for pharmaceutical and biologic products.
β’ Provide counsel on government pricing and reporting (e.g., Medicaid Best Price, AMP, ASP, 340B, VA/FSS) and analyze the effects of commercial contracting strategies on those obligations.
β’ Assist with coverage, coding, and reimbursement initiatives alongside market access, HEOR, trade/channel, and pricing teams.
β’ Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide variety of market access-related agreements.
β’ Advise on the design and execution of patient support programs, co-pay assistance, and related arrangements, keeping anti-kickback and False Claims Act risks in mind.
β’ Collaborate with commercial, medical, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure access-related strategies, communications, and materials adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
β’ Keep abreast of U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and enforcement trends that affect market access, pricing, reimbursement, and interactions with payers, PBMs, and healthcare professionals.
β’ 5β8 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm and/or in-house with a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company.
β’ Proficient in drafting and negotiating PBM, payer, GPO, wholesaler, rebate, and other market access-related agreements.
β’ Previous experience advising on legal matters related to advertising and promotion, scientific exchange, patient support programs, and interactions with healthcare professionals and payers.
β’ Strong understanding of, and experience advising on, statutes, regulations, and guidance relevant to commercial and market access activities.
β’ Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, risk-based contracting and access strategies.
β’ Capable multitasker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively with market access, commercial, medical, regulatory, compliance, and finance teams.
β’ Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and a readiness to address new and evolving business needs in a dynamic environment.
β’ Licensed and in good standing to practice law in your state of primary residence.
