This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the prior authorization process for patients requesting insurance coverage for the IpsiHand Rehabilitation system.

• Evaluate prescriptions, medical records, letters of medical necessity, and case documentation provided by intake specialists for accuracy and thoroughness.

• Create patient-specific strategies and narratives to advocate for medical necessity and favorable coverage decisions.

• Prepare, compile, and submit prior authorization requests to health insurance plans.

• Act as the main point of contact for insurance companies, ensuring the prompt and precise processing of prior authorization requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least three years of experience in a healthcare setting (medical devices, insurance, or healthcare services).

• Familiarity with prior authorization submissions and appeals.

• Proficiency in SalesForce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Capability to sit at a computer for extended periods and utilize standard office equipment.

• Skill in reading and interpreting clinical and insurance documents, along with the ability to communicate information clearly via phone and in writing.
