Marine Field Service Technician, Sign-On Bonus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with marine clients to drive our company's ongoing development.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on MTU engines across various marine applications.

• Execute sea trials and assess engine performance, making necessary adjustments as required.

• Keep service records and documentation up to date to ensure operational efficiency.

• Offer guidance, support, and training to apprentice marine technicians.

• Travel within the designated region and occasionally beyond, including potential international assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in high-speed marine engine repair, particularly with MTU engines.

• Proficient in Marine Diesel Engine Mechanical Experience (e.g., Cummings, CAT, John Deere, MTU, Detroit Diesel, Mitsubishi, MAN, Volvo Penta, Yanmar).

• Familiarity with MTU MCS/RCS electronics and Diasys software is preferred.

• Experience with MDEC, ADEC, or DDEC is preferred.

• Knowledge of ECU7, ECU8, ECU9 Software is preferred.

• Skilled in using tools and technical diagnostics.

• Strong laptop/PC proficiency for diagnostics and software applications.

• Capable of diagnosing mechanical issues and interpreting service manuals.

• Enthusiastic about working within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced industry.
