This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and nurture relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners to enhance market share.
• Support various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist customers in understanding the distinctions between channels and help them identify the most suitable solutions based on their business model and project requirements.
• Operate within a brand-neutral environment, offering support across multiple product lines and market access routes.
• Guide customers throughout the sales process, providing product education, onboarding assistance, and continuous account development.
• Educate customers about technology platforms, systems, and product offerings.
• Aid customers in comprehending metal building systems, product applications, and installation procedures.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership, to ensure customer success.
• Help customers navigate systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Support business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting in issue resolution and effectively managing customer expectations.
• Build trust with customers through effective communication, in-depth product knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Prior experience with metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction materials is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a knack for quickly connecting with customers.
• A sales-oriented demeanor with the confidence to engage customers and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Ability to comprehend and navigate various sales channels and customer categories.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings or experience in the construction sector is preferred.
• Capacity to learn about technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• Strong customer-centric approach with the capability to solve problems and manage customer expectations effectively.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
