This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Build and maintain relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other essential industry partners to increase market share.
• Provide support across various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist customers in comprehending the differences among channels and help them identify suitable solutions tailored to their business models and project requirements.
• Operate within a brand-neutral environment, endorsing multiple product lines and market routes.
• Guide customers through the sales process, offering product education, onboarding, and continuous account development.
• Educate customers on technology platforms, systems, and product solutions.
• Help customers grasp metal building systems, product applications, and installation methods.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership, to enhance customer success.
• Assist customers in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Contribute to business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while addressing issues and effectively managing customer expectations.
• Establish credibility with customers through effective communication, product expertise, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Preferred experience in metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a knack for quickly connecting with customers.
• Sales-driven personality with the assertiveness to engage customers and generate new business opportunities.
• Capability to understand and navigate multiple sales channels and customer types.
• Preferred experience in reading construction drawings or working in the construction sector.
• Willingness to learn about technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset with the capacity to solve problems and manage customer expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• At least 3 years of customer-facing experience preferred.
