This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other pivotal industry partners to enhance market presence.
• Facilitate various sales channels such as direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist clients in comprehending the distinctions between sales channels and recommend appropriate solutions tailored to their business models and project requirements.
• Operate in a brand-agnostic setting, promoting multiple product lines and market access routes.
• Guide customers throughout the sales journey, providing product education, onboarding, and continuous account development.
• Educate customers on technology platforms, systems, and product offerings.
• Aid clients in grasping metal building systems, product applications, and installation procedures.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer success.
• Support clients in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Drive business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing issues and managing customer expectations effectively.
• Establish credibility with customers through effective communication, product expertise, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Preferred experience in metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to quickly engage customers.
• A sales-driven mindset with the confidence to interact with customers and uncover new business opportunities.
• Proficient in understanding and navigating various sales channels and customer types.
• Experience in reading construction drawings or a background in the construction industry is preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• Strong customer orientation with the capability to problem-solve and manage customer expectations.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
• At least 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
