📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Have a thorough understanding of the specific vocabulary related to the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Deliver all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Ensure the highest quality of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate communication between clients with Limited English Proficiency and the service provider by providing accurate and complete interpretation.

• Implement standards of practice effectively.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader regularly.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language, Mandinka.

• At least 1 year of experience in over-the-phone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• International certifications relevant to the healthcare industry are beneficial (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Exceptional emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
