Mandarin Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, consecutive interpretation mainly in medical environments.

• Enable essential communication in social service and financial situations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• English Proficiency: Required minimum C1 fluency. Valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE are accepted.

• Interpretation Certification: Candidates must successfully pass a terminology and interpreter skills assessment during the hiring process.

• Core Skills: Full command of medical and customer service terminology.

• Compliance: Must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Background Check: Must be willing to complete a standard background check via email successfully.

• Technical & Workspace Requirements: A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is essential (Wi-Fi is not permitted).

• Hardware: A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset is required.

• Computer Specs: Minimum specifications include Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM.

• Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge is necessary.

• Workspace: Must have a dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant working space.
