Managing Partner, IT Strategy Consulting – Commercial Banking

📋 Description

• The Managing Partners play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding Gartner Consulting’s relationship with a specific set of Gartner clients.

• Provide clients with high-level strategic advice on both overarching and tactical issues, demonstrating how technology facilitates a diverse array of business outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with Expert Partners and others to deliver optimal solutions to our clients.

• Function as both a Managing Partner, responsible for generating and closing consulting demand, and as a Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME).


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience within a reputable management consultancy in roles focused on project delivery and sales.

• Previous experience in a problem-solving role, such as a solution/technical architect or analyst, is preferred.

• Experience with Banking clients is essential.

• Expertise in the banking industry, including business capabilities, process knowledge, and familiarity with one or more core banking technology solutions.

• Experience with a variety of IT solutions.

• A strong history of leading teams and fostering high-performing groups that utilize technology to advance the critical objectives of commercial or governmental organizations.

• Capability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards achieving shared goals.

• A steadfast commitment to the success of your team, along with a willingness to provide constructive feedback when necessary.

• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and innovative problem-solving abilities to develop effective solutions and strategies for client challenges.

• Ability to adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to address the most urgent business challenges faced by clients.

• Competence in being hands-on and managing multiple client priorities concurrently.

• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

• Skilled at selling to, influencing, and establishing trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives.

• Coachable and open to best practices and feedback for ongoing improvement.

• A consistent high achiever recognized for perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.

• Proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
