Managing Director – Private Equity Casualty Practice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, negotiation, and implementation of complex casualty insurance programs for private equity clients and their associated portfolio companies.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with carriers and market stakeholders to provide innovative risk transfer and alternative risk financing options.

• Propel revenue growth through client retention, cross-selling opportunities, and the acquisition of new business.

• Offer strategic insights on M&A transactions, conduct due diligence, perform risk assessments, and optimize insurance programs.

• Manage a substantial book of business while ensuring outstanding client service and execution standards.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of brokers and client service experts.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies for practice growth, set performance targets, and enhance talent development initiatives.

• Work closely with internal teams to provide customized, data-driven solutions that align with client goals and long-term risk management strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance brokerage, with considerable knowledge in casualty programs, private equity, M&A, or intricate commercial risk.

• Current Property & Casualty License.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing client relationships, and achieving results in a dynamic, transaction-focused environment.

• Strong technical proficiency in loss-sensitive programs, alternative risk transfer solutions, captives, and intricate policy frameworks.
