
Managing Director – Motor Gear Trader, Trading & Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of and implement the company’s operational strategy, including positioning, pricing, go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and growth objectives.
• Convert Estoras Group goals into quantifiable quarterly priorities (OKRs / EOS-style rocks).
• Ensure readiness for product launches across product development, operations, marketing, and customer support.
• Develop a strategic roadmap aimed at scaling operations and, if relevant, planning for future capital events such as fundraising or strategic sales.
• Supervise the design, development, and rollout of the MGT platform, including beta enhancements, launch versions, and iterative cycles.
• Guarantee that product decisions are informed by customer insights and market liquidity trends.
• Manage daily operations with an emphasis on speed, quality, and profitability.
• Establish and uphold essential operational frameworks: KPI dashboards, weekly reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-achieving team across product, sales, customer success, and operations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers and key supply-side partners.
• Execute cross-functional projects on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Demonstrated experience as a Managing Director or operator within a startup, marketplace, platform, or rapidly growing environment.
• Proven track record of successful execution in operations, product delivery, and revenue expansion.
• Ability to lead teams and vendors with clear accountability and direction.
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, and cost control.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in uncertain situations; proactive approach with a focus on measurable results.
• Co-ownership / equity participation: The Managing Director will have the chance to become a co-owner of the company.
• Performance-based compensation only: Compensation is strictly linked to performance and is activated only after the business achieves profitability, based on a mutually agreed definition and reporting schedule.
• No guaranteed salary at start: There is no initial salary, and no guaranteed monthly income until growth and profitability milestones are reached.
• Founder investment already made: The founders have already invested in the technology and platform. This role is ideally suited for candidates who prioritize long-term ownership and value creation over a conventional employee mindset.
