Managing Director, Medical Affairs Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor by cultivating a deep understanding of clients’ needs and translating those into tailored service offerings.

• Manage the design, development, and execution of solutions to ensure success in every client engagement.

• Utilize personal networks to secure and oversee a $3 million annual portfolio; create comprehensive plans to meet and exceed revenue objectives, deliver persuasive pitches, and lead contract negotiations to finalize business agreements.

• Produce thought leadership to leverage industry trends and develop innovative solutions and capabilities.

• Act as a guardian of team and company culture; promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.

• Build and maintain a high-performing global team that goes beyond individual sales contributions and book of business. Lead and nurture multiple delivery teams across various accounts to ensure projects are delivered with “right first time” quality.

• Spearhead firm-building initiatives, as well as individual and team development, and participate in annual strategic business planning activities.

• Collaborate on the ongoing growth and advancement of Red Nucleus.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a business-related field; an advanced degree in Life Sciences and/or an MBA is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in management consulting, advisory, and/or strategy and change management specifically within the Life Sciences sector.

• Proven history of successfully selling, delivering, and expanding consulting revenues with a track record of sourced sales exceeding $3 million in the last 2-3 years.

• Demonstrated expertise in Medical Affairs and Strategy.

• Strong executive presence.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, both verbal and written.

• Capability to utilize an external network to enhance market positioning.

• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.

• Ability to lead client work and manage accounts effectively.

• Proficient in attracting, retaining, mentoring, and developing team members.

• Capacity to become a trusted partner to clients at all levels, from Director to C-suite.

• Must possess a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including demonstrated expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
