This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Spearhead Audacious's worldwide quest for visionary ideas and transformative leaders.
• Manage the entire process of curation, application, and due diligence.
• Formulate and refine sourcing and curation strategies for each funding cycle.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and innovations pertinent to Audacious.
• Gather insights and lessons learned to enhance annual sourcing and curation efforts.
• Identify concepts for progression into the application phase.
• Oversee due diligence on selected organizations, assessing their readiness, viability, and alignment with our portfolio.
• Create evidence-based recommendations for finalists, detailing rationale and associated risks.
• Foster ongoing relationships with leaders in the social sector, funders, intermediary partners, and sourcing networks.
• Represent Audacious's viewpoint in the sector and establish opportunities for collaboration.
• Lead and strategically allocate resources to the Discovery and Insight vertical.
• Mentor team members in sourcing, conducting due diligence, and managing partner relationships.
• Manage relationships and collaborate with year-round partners such as The Bridgespan Group.
• Proven experience in setting strategy within dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
• Capability to make impactful decisions based on solid principles and conviction.
• Extensive generalist knowledge across geographic, social-change, and innovation sectors.
• Professional maturity and credibility to engage ultra-high-net-worth individuals, subject matter experts, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated experience in building and nurturing teams.
• Experience leading change-management initiatives.
• Ability to operate through influence within a senior leadership context.
• Access to and recognition within social-change and social-innovation networks.
