Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation, CPA Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members in client projects and business development efforts.

• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance environment that emphasizes quality, innovation, and client service.

• Support internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional growth initiatives.

• Manage and execute engagements across diverse disciplines, including complex investigations related to regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Guide the creation of client deliverables such as reports, presentations, data visualizations, and testimonies.

• Act as a senior liaison for clients, ensuring top-tier service delivery and strategic insights.

• Grow your portfolio and contribute to the expansion of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders.

• Establish and nurture relationships with law firms, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and corporate clients.

• Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of relevant experience, including roles in auditing, CFO positions, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.

• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality client services and managing team collaboration.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
