Associate Director, Legal & Compliance Technology Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology transformation roadmap for Legal & Compliance.

• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, cut costs, and enhance scalability.

• Set technology priorities that align with business goals.

• Lead the strategy and implementation of AI initiatives for Legal & Compliance.

• Design, create, and launch AI-driven solutions and intelligent workflows.

• Assess large language models, agentic AI solutions, document intelligence, and automation platforms.

• Minimize reliance on external vendors through technology-enabled capabilities.

• Analyze and redesign comprehensive workflows across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Investor Services, Operations, and Technology.

• Convert fragmented processes into cohesive operating models and a unified source of truth.

• Direct complex, cross-functional projects from inception to execution.

• Oversee project plans, stakeholder alignment, risk management, budgets, and delivery timelines.

• Establish capabilities in data governance, reporting, and analytics.

• Create dashboards and performance metrics to enhance decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology leadership, software engineering, solution architecture, automation, or digital transformation.

• Proven experience in implementing AI and machine learning solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and AI governance.

• Experience in designing workflow automation, integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Outstanding project and program management skills.

• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

• Experience in supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, Privacy, or Regulatory functions is preferred.

• Background in private equity, asset management, or financial services is preferred.

• Familiarity with legal operations technology, compliance platforms, and regulatory systems is preferred.

• Knowledge of data governance, information security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
