This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• As a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, you will act as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, facilitating client success through vision, execution, and mentorship.
• In this position, you will oversee revenue integrity consulting projects, guide clients through operational transformations, and ensure the achievement of measurable financial results.
• We are looking for a Manager to spearhead client engagements that focus on Revenue Integrity, charge capture, charge reconciliation, and optimization of Epic EHR.
• The Manager will adopt a data-driven methodology to assess the entirety of a client's revenue integrity operations, identifying trends, benchmarking performance, and pinpointing root causes of revenue loss or inefficiency.
• With these insights, the Manager will craft and supervise the implementation of comprehensive recommendations addressing improvements in people, processes, and technology.
• The Manager will ensure that the recommendations are both strategic and actionable, aligning operational execution with organizational goals and measurable outcomes across both hospital and professional charge environments.
• As a Senior Consultant in Revenue Integrity, you will utilize your expertise to enhance financial performance, ensure compliance, and optimize charge capture processes for both hospital and professional billing settings.
• The Senior Consultant will collaborate with healthcare clients to evaluate their current charge capture operations, employ data to uncover patterns and trends that highlight areas for financial or operational improvement, and formulate actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
• These recommendations may encompass improvements in people, processes, and technology—ranging from workflow redesigns and role refinements to enhancements in system configuration and reporting capabilities.
• Managing Consultant requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, emphasizing optimization and performance improvement.
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting or similar roles, including professional services and/or project management.
• Proven ability to deliver presentations to large audiences, both externally and within the organization.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational process improvements and change management initiatives for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis using Excel.
• Senior Consultant requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on optimization and performance enhancement.
• 3+ years of management consulting or similar experience in professional services and/or project management.
• Proven ability to present effectively to large groups, both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated success in operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems.
• Intermediate to advanced analytical and data manipulation skills using Excel.
