This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to integrate strategic goals and establish work plans along with resource mobilization frameworks for the team.
• Ensure successful execution by both yourself and the team to meet delivery targets.
• Offer strategic insights and influence to both internal and external stakeholders in the healthcare domain as well as general user interactions across web, mobile, and omnichannel platforms.
• Guide junior engineers in contemporary software engineering practices focused on contract-first development, early design and testing functions, and collaborative models for distributed software development and release.
• Educate engineers and stakeholders on development and deployment constraints and patterns for scalable digital platform experiences.
• 8+ years of experience in delivering customer experience web solutions for user populations exceeding 10 million.
• Over 10 years in software development within moderate-to-large organizations that adhere to established information technology and software engineering practices.
• 5+ years of experience in a software lead role, including management and team leadership duties.
• Extensive knowledge of modern web frameworks (such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.), reactive web patterns, and associated publication and deployment models (SPA, PWA, SSR, etc.).
• Familiarity with mobile transpilation frameworks (e.g., React Native, Expo, Ionic, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of web/mobile supporting API models (Backend-for-frontend) and push mechanisms (Websockets, HTTP Push, etc.).
• Experience with various web session and authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT, PKCE, etc.).
• Proven experience in developing web/mobile applications that include internationalization (i18n), accessibility (a11n), multimedia content delivery, and dynamic feature toggling.
• Background in healthcare and understanding of related compliance and security requirements.
