This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Oversee the inflow and outflow of all pallets within the network, focusing on budget oversight and process enhancement.
• Create processes and governance for the management and tracking of carts.
• Establish productivity systems to assess the effectiveness of projects by measuring existing productivity and efficiency.
• Evaluate current methodologies and procedures, providing recommendations and leading the implementation of enhanced operating practices.
• Directly engage, communicate, train, and hold accountable internal and external customers, as well as vendors, to ensure top-tier customer service while upholding sound business practices and managing costs.
• Assess equipment needs and make recommendations, preparing cost justifications as necessary.
• Standardize operational SOPs, workflows, and productivity measures across various projects, creating scorecards, SOPs, and centralized documentation for easy access and future capability enhancements; revise documents as new methodologies are identified.
• Spearhead change management initiatives when introducing new concepts to internal operations, third-party logistics, or plant partners.
• Strong foundation in supply chain operations with over 6 years of professional experience, including P&L accountability for budgets surpassing $20M.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is mandatory; Master Black Belt is advantageous — with a proven track record of implementing Lean principles in distribution and warehousing settings.
• Significant experience in data collection, analysis, and the design/preparation of statistical reports.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to handle complex, cross-functional projects.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the capability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external partners.
• Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG/CPG) is a plus.
