This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assists in the everyday management of the Veterinary Scholarship program.
• Collaborates closely with the Director of Scholarship Management to ensure effective execution and alignment with the ASPCA’s strategic objectives.
• Creates and manages the Scholars Network, fostering a connected community of scholarship recipients and alumni from ASPCA training programs while monitoring engagement.
• Reports directly to the Director of Scholarship Management and does not have any direct reports.
• Coordinates and oversees logistics for virtual, live, and in-person events.
• Inspires scholars to actively engage in a variety of offerings, including training sessions and conferences.
• Assists the Director with the daily administration of scholarships.
• Gathers and synthesizes participant feedback to evaluate engagement strategies.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in providing virtual customer service via email, video, and phone is required.
• Proven experience in collecting and managing data sets is required.
• Experience in planning and executing both virtual and in-person events is required.
• Proficiency in public speaking and in preparing and delivering presentations is required.
• Experience in alumni relations, scholarship programs, volunteer management, or other network management is highly preferred.
• Experience working with undergraduate or graduate students is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
• Ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals, cultivate positive relationships, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
