Manager – VCOE, Virtual Centre of Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and orchestrate workflow across various office portfolios, ensuring that tasks are distributed effectively and deadlines are adhered to by both onshore and offshore teams.

• Conduct in-depth reviews of compliance work, develop quality assurance frameworks, and implement corrective measures as necessary.

• Mentor, guide, and nurture Assistant Managers, Senior Accountants, and Accountants, fostering a high-performing and engaged virtual team.

• Serve as a primary liaison for offices regarding compliance delivery, cultivating strong relationships and keeping stakeholders updated.

• Offer expert guidance on intricate accounting, tax, and compliance issues, and assist in resolving escalated challenges.

• Facilitate enhancements in processes, systems, and operations under the guidance of the Virtual A&T Pool Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or compliance, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.

• Proven success in managing virtual or multi-site teams.

• In-depth understanding of tax and accounting standards pertinent to compliance delivery.

• Exceptional coaching and talent development abilities across both onshore and offshore teams.

• Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to influence teams across different geographical locations.

• Skilled in utilizing workflow management tools, A&T systems, and internal platforms.

• CA qualified (or equivalent); a degree in accounting is essential.

• Current membership/registration with maintained CPD hours.
