• Collaborate with Client/Cartus and suppliers to foster innovation and demonstrate added value.
• Assist in the development of a client-specific business plan alongside the Client/Cartus Director to meet established goals, which include strategic initiatives, service provisions, vendor selection, exploration of new markets, innovation, and cost savings.
• Create tailored reporting for clients that aligns with the agreed-upon business plan on a regular basis.
• Provide ongoing service updates to operations and suppliers on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Oversee supplier performance directed by the network and client, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures through SLA management, consultative interactions, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with relevant internal resources to facilitate the effective onboarding of new suppliers.
• Review all service defects, request root cause analyses from suppliers, identify trends, and make recommendations to enhance service delivery.
• Develop best practices to cater to the specific needs of clients while ensuring continuous improvement.
• Maintain global consistency and application of client policies and processes.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret data to assess performance against service level agreements, including strategic, service, vendor selection, new markets, innovation, and cost savings.
• Recommend and manage volume reduction, service recovery plans, or supplier terminations when necessary.
• Micromanage suppliers' service recovery plans.
• Schedule and conduct monthly dashboard calls with suppliers, and participate in team huddles to provide updates on suppliers and market challenges.
• Manage ad hoc projects, which may include training for operations and suppliers, conducting in-depth defect analyses across various service lines, and updating the GTM team on supplier performance.
• Create client presentations and newsletters as required and present supplier results alongside historical data.
• Analyze and research end-to-end situations, often necessitating a timeline of events. For instance, conduct thorough research to ascertain root causes, necessary actions, and next steps.
• Investigate and analyze supplier invoice discrepancies, identifying issues such as overpayments, non-payments, or missing required information, and liaise with the appropriate supplier or internal contacts to resolve these matters.
• Collaborate with the Director/VP to continually enhance overall performance by effectively utilizing team resources and implementing improvements.
• Act as an advocate for both the client and Cartus with local suppliers by effectively communicating the needs and philosophies of both parties.
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual review of metrics with the client as necessary.
• Engage in global calls as required with client contacts and/or client services.
• Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously, focusing on one task while keeping track of others.
• Support the Director with budget planning, cost estimating, accruals, and expense management.
• Respond appropriately to all Account Management and Sales requests, including RFPs, and the preparation of client-ready and marketing materials.
• Identify suitable suppliers to meet client needs.
• Lead client RFI and RFP processes related to supply chain operations and suppliers.
• Travel twice a year for in-person meetings with clients as required.
• Minimum of 5 years of business experience in relocation.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a focus on relationship management.
• Exhibit winning behaviors.
• Ability to manage complex relationships involving multiple suppliers.
• Capability to support the manager with team requirements and/or supplier management.
• Prior experience in vendor/supplier management is desirable.
• Experience in account management or relationship management.
• A background in procurement is advantageous.
• Basic financial management skills are required.
• Must be available for occasional travel.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
