This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Provide leadership and line management to the global start-up team, focusing on coaching, development, and performance management.
• Establish and execute the comprehensive start-up strategy, ensuring it aligns with global objectives and regional requirements.
• Supervise all aspects of study start-up activities, including country/site feasibility, submissions, ethical approvals, and activation timelines.
• Enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality across all start-up deliverables by driving process optimization and best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Proposals teams to assist in bid defenses, feasibility contributions, and strategic planning for studies.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in client interactions, ensuring that start-up expectations are clearly articulated and fulfilled.
• Track and report on start-up KPIs, timelines, and risks, implementing necessary mitigation strategies.
• Work collaboratively across functions, including Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, and external vendors.
• Support business growth initiatives by maintaining scalable and high-performing start-up operations.
• Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and company SOPs.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
• A degree in a science, healthcare, or a related field.
• Significant experience in clinical trial start-up within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical setting.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including managing remote and global teams.
• In-depth knowledge of European clinical trial regulations and start-up procedures.
• Experience in contributing to proposals, feasibility evaluations, and business development efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and implement process enhancements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in clinical systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
