Manager, Strategic Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the comprehensive materials 'Must Win' quoting procedure for key customer proposals.

• Collaborate with both internal and external clients to address product data integrity challenges.

• Formulate and implement effective sourcing strategies alongside various teams.

• Provide competitive and timely pricing solutions for materials.

• Lead and facilitate initiatives aimed at process enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or procurement.

• Capacity to interpret and analyze technical product data at both the component and assembly levels (electronic and mechanical).

• Proven ability to utilize web platforms to extract commercial and technical information for electronic components.

• Skill in consolidating, manipulating, and analyzing costing and pricing data.

• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and comprehending the effects of material costs on project profitability.

• Demonstrated understanding of the workings of an EMS supply chain and the key drivers of commodity costs.

• Awareness of supplier pricing and strategic approaches.

• Ability to effectively foster relationships with suppliers and negotiate advantageous outcomes.

• Strong systems skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Celestica-specific tools.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capable of influencing, motivating, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to develop and advocate for innovative solutions.
