Manager, Strategic Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take complete responsibility for revenue and growth objectives within a strategic account portfolio.

• Implement global pricing strategies, renewal playbooks, and risk mitigation plans.

• Establish and nurture strong, multi-tiered relationships with client stakeholders, including mid- and senior-level decision-makers, while acting as the primary point of contact for all customer-related inquiries.

• Provide professional, insight-driven Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), aligning client expectations with performance outcomes and strategic objectives.

• Create and execute detailed strategic account plans aimed at retention, revenue growth, client expansion (both short- and long-term), margin enhancement, and cross-business unit (XBU) penetration.

• Manage complex deal structuring that involves multiple business units, geographies, and/or service lines.

• Ensure the timely and precise execution of client contracts, including navigating approval processes and presenting contract metrics through the DOA process.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and market dynamics to proactively position services and solutions.

• Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives by coordinating internal stakeholders to achieve client objectives.

• Keep accurate CRM records to ensure data integrity, facilitating clear forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 8 years of customer-facing experience in sales, strategic account management, or commercial operations.

• Experience managing multi-site accounts with moderate complexity in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries is strongly preferred.
