This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Solution Engineers to provide impactful technical demonstrations and discovery sessions.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to align Solution Engineer resources with pipeline priorities and sales strategies.
• Own the technical win strategy throughout the sales process, from initial discovery to technical closure.
• Guide the team in linking Storyblok's features directly to the business value for customers.
• Represent the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering, providing field insights to influence the product roadmap.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new Solution Engineers effectively.
• Establish and monitor team performance metrics, such as win rates, deal velocity, and technical customer satisfaction (CSAT).
• Create and maintain enablement content, demo environments, and best practices for the Solution Engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Required: previous experience as a Solution Engineering Manager.
• Required: familiarity with SaaS products, preferably in a technical pre-sales role.
• Preferred: experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), or web/content management systems.
• Preferred: experience as an individual contributor in roles such as Solution Engineer or Sales Engineer before moving into management.
• Preferred: understanding of modern web development concepts, including APIs, JavaScript frameworks, and headless architecture.
• Preferred: experience selling to enterprise or mid-market clients.
• Exhibits AI literacy, capable of utilizing AI tools to boost productivity, enhance decision-making, and improve work quality while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
