Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead a fullstack team of engineers, taking full ownership of the Speaking Tutor product from start to finish.

• Develop and maintain the technical strategy focused on conversation quality and feedback precision.

• Deliver results with speed and attention to detail while balancing innovation with production reliability.

• Advocate for AI-driven engineering by utilizing tools such as Cursor and Claude Code yourself.

• Collaborate with Product and Research teams to convert user insights into actionable decisions.

• Foster team growth by mentoring engineers in their technical skills and career paths.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience with practical fullstack or backend involvement in production environments.

• More than 2 years of experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Proven track record of launching products reliant on AI/ML technologies.

• Regular user of AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.

• Strong sense of product intuition and ability to navigate uncertainty.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
