This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team across the US and EU, fostering career advancement, performance improvement, and teamwork.
• Advocate for a transition from reactive delivery to proactive technical ownership, establishing best practices for platform reliability and cross-regional alignment.
• Design and implement global infrastructure expansions in FedRAMP High / IL4, India, Australia, and other complex environments.
• Direct microservices, Go-based services, and extreme-scale cellular architecture decisions to ensure sub-second latency data ingestion and stream processing.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to synchronize roadmaps, eliminate delivery obstacles, and maintain production reliability.
• Manage production environments and respond to high-severity incidents.
• Promote GitOps and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• Over 8 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.
• 2 to 4 years of direct experience in people management.
• A BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience is mandatory.
• Proficient in Golang, including performance optimization and concurrency.
• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native microservices and integration workflows.
• Experience in managing production environments, coordinating on-call rotations, and leading high-severity incident responses in 24/7 SaaS or distributed settings.
• Background in managing or collaborating with distributed teams across time zones.
• Ability to work in US Central/Eastern time zones to align with EU/US schedules.
