This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop and execute the team's vision and roadmap by integrating extensive technical expertise, strategic insight, and leadership capabilities.
• Articulate and advocate for the platform's value among engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Grasp stakeholder needs and convert them into exceptional developer experiences.
• Collaborate across various subject areas with partners to advance software initiatives.
• Foster a team culture in which engineers are encouraged to enhance their skills and take on greater responsibilities.
• Guide the team from uncertainty to clarity by ensuring stability, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate data from diverse sources to assist the team in making informed trade-offs.
• Establish, monitor, and report on essential metrics related to your team's software systems.
• A Bachelor's degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in software development and management.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of software engineers.
• Expertise in one or more technical stacks, including AWS, Python, Django, Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and React.
• Strong experience in full-stack application development.
• Profound understanding of web application architectures, APIs, and developer tools.
