Engineering Manager, Nav SDK, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the Nav SDK team in enhancing the maps and navigation ecosystem at Mapbox.

• Mentor and nurture talent, providing support and inspiration to engineers.

• Encourage collaboration and innovation within the team.

• Drive strategic goals and ensure they align with the company's objectives.

• Define product roadmaps in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

• Shape the vision and contribute to both business and product planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in engineering management.

• Demonstrated success in leading technical teams.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams of 5 or more individuals.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android).

• Experience in developing Mobile SDKs.

• Strong knowledge of SDK architecture, API design, design patterns, and industry best practices.

• Familiarity with Maps and Location Technologies, such as GIS systems, is a plus.

• Proven ability to hire and develop top technical talent.

• Dedication to monitoring, metrics, and continuous improvement processes.

• Confidence in leading vision, strategy, and execution for impactful projects.

• Enthusiasm for solving customer challenges and delivering exceptional experiences.

• Professional fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is required.
