This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Collaborate closely with Study Start Up, Clinical Operations, legal, HR, finance, and various stakeholders to ensure the Site Contracts team is equipped with all necessary tools for delivering Site Contracts promptly.
• Assist in contract negotiations when required and manage relationships with key clients.
• Engage in corporate strategic initiatives for the Start Up group, such as the Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up.
• Directly manage a team of contract and budget associates.
• Allocate resources for new business within the organization, while forecasting and planning for current and upcoming workloads.
• Participate in discussions regarding resource requirements and strategize for the future structure of site contracts.
• Monitor and report on contract metrics, including the productivity of the site contract function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
• Address and resolve complex issues in collaboration with legal, finance, or supervisors.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendment agreements.
• Supervise the execution of agreements at the portfolio level in accordance with each study contract plan.
• Manage the maintenance of contract files and databases, including the archiving of contracts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective measures.
• Assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure timely execution of contracts.
• Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in both internal and external meetings, including client meetings.
• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific or healthcare field.
• Experience in Site Contracts departments within Clinical Research Organizations (CRO).
• Proven experience negotiating clinical trial agreements with major healthcare institutions in North America.
• Experience in remote people management.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, along with the management, control, and tracking of the contract process at both project and portfolio levels.
• Familiarity with establishing Site Contracting Plans and exposure to Sponsors.
• Knowledge of various models of site contract structures.
