This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Collaborate closely with Study Start Up, Clinical Operations, legal, HR, finance, and additional stakeholders to ensure that the Site Contracts team has all necessary tools to deliver Site Contracts in the shortest possible timeframe.
• Play a crucial role in ensuring that all other deliverables of the Site Contracts group align with established study timelines.
• Support contract negotiations as required and engage with key clients.
• Participate in corporate strategic initiatives for the Start Up group, such as the Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up, and become an integral part of the SSU Leadership.
• Review, update, and/or establish processes and procedures for comprehensive site contract management within the organization at the regional level.
• Manage a team of contract and budget associates.
• Allocate resources for new business within the organization, including forecasting and planning for current and anticipated workloads.
• Engage in discussions regarding resource needs and strategize for the future of site contract structures.
• Report and manage contract metrics, including the productivity of the site contract function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
• Escalate and resolve complex issues involving legal, finance, or supervisors.
• Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendment agreements.
• Oversee the execution of agreements at the portfolio level according to each study contract plan.
• Manage the maintenance of contract files and databases, including contract archiving.
• Identify areas for process improvement and take corrective measures.
• Assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure timely execution of contracts.
• Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in both internal and external meetings, including client meetings.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
• Experience in Site Contracts departments within Clinical Research Organizations (CRO).
• Proven experience working with major healthcare institutions in North America for the performance and negotiation of clinical trial agreements.
• Experience in managing teams remotely.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, along with managing, controlling, and tracking the contract process at both the project and portfolio levels.
• Experience in developing Site Contracting Plans and familiarity with Sponsors.
