Manager, Site Contracts Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Study Start Up, Clinical Operations, legal, HR, finance, and various stakeholders to equip the Site Contracts team with all necessary tools to deliver site contracts as efficiently as possible.

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring that all other deliverables from the Site Contracts group align with established study timelines.

• Provide support in contract negotiations when required and engage with key clients.

• Engage in corporate strategic initiatives for the Start Up group, including the Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up initiatives.

• Act as a member of the SSU Leadership team.

• Review, revise, and/or establish processes and procedures for comprehensive site contract management at the regional level within the organization.

• Directly manage a team of contract and budget associates.

• Allocate resources for new business within the organization, while forecasting and planning for current and anticipated workloads.

• Contribute to discussions regarding resource needs and strategize for the future structure of site contracts.

• Monitor and report on contract metrics, including the productivity of the site contracts function.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.

• Address and resolve complex issues in collaboration with legal, finance, or supervisory personnel.

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendment agreements.

• Oversee the execution of agreements at the portfolio level in accordance with each study contract plan.

• Supervise the maintenance of contract files and databases, including contract archiving.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and take corrective measures.

• Assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure timely execution of contracts.

• Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in both internal and external meetings, including client engagements.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific or healthcare field.

• Experience within Site Contracts departments in Clinical Research Organizations (CRO).

• Proven track record of interacting with major healthcare institutions in North America for the performance and negotiation of clinical trial agreements.

• Experience in remote people management.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, alongside management, control, and tracking of the contract process at both project and portfolio levels.

• Familiarity with developing Site Contracting Plans and exposure to Sponsors.

• Experience with various models of site contract structures.
