This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily activities of the OFAC, 314(a), and PEP screening queues while adhering to service standards.

• Lead and supervise the Sanctions Operations team, distributing workload to prevent the concentration of escalations with a single analyst.

• Conduct second-level reviews of screening outcomes and ensure that documentation aligns with the five-element baseline.

• Track productivity and SLA metrics; aim to minimize the need for overtime and weekend work as new analysts join the team.

• Oversee the OFAC/314(a)/PEP escalation process and direct true matches for blocking or reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with the Manager of the Sanctions Program on model modifications, list revisions, and testing that impacts the operational queue.

• Assist with audits, independent assessments, and OCC examination walkthroughs for sanctions operations.

• Utilize product and transaction-party knowledge to comprehend and manage screening alerts.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.

• CAMS certification is mandatory; CGSS certification is preferred.

• 5 to 8 years of experience in BSA/AML or sanctions screening is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an operations or screening setting.

• Practical experience with OFAC/314(a)/PEP screening platforms (Bridger or similar) and disposition processes.

• Proven ability to meet SLAs and manage high-volume queues effectively.

• Strong operational discipline and queue management skills in a high-volume screening environment.

• Familiarity with OFAC/sanctions regulations, 314(a), and PEP screening processes.

• Leadership skills and ability to balance workloads to eliminate single points of failure.

• A data-driven mindset focused on SLA, productivity, and quality metrics.

• Proficient in clear, audit-ready written communication.

• Working knowledge of Pathward's card issuing/prepaid, acquiring, digital payments/faster payments, tax products, consumer lending, commercial finance, and commercial deposits products along with associated screening processes.
