πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take ownership of enhancing Revenue Cycle applications, driving optimization initiatives, transformation programs, the adoption of new functionalities, workflow redesign, and the integration of enabling technologies.

β€’ Act as the primary IT Owner for enhancements and transformation initiatives related to Revenue Cycle, managing requirements definition, backlog prioritization, sequencing, and delivering outcomes focused on results.

β€’ Lead planning and execution at the domain level for initiatives aimed at improving revenue integrity, minimizing manual effort, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the user experience across patient access, billing, claims, and follow-up functions.

β€’ Utilize a high level of technical and business acumen as a consultative leader, advising on the identification, design, and delivery of solutions that leverage development synergies, challenge conventional methods, and advance Revenue Cycle technology and workflows beyond existing standards.

β€’ Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to identify, shape, prioritize, and sequence enhancement and transformation opportunities into actionable roadmaps and funded projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, capacity, and governance.

β€’ Implement Agile and ITIL-aligned practices to manage enhancement backlogs, project portfolios, and delivery workflows, balancing speed, quality, risk, and operational readiness.

β€’ Work closely with the Manager of Revenue Cycle Applications – Service Reliability to ensure that changes are operationally ready, supportable, and seamlessly transitioned into steady-state operations.

β€’ Promote adoption and value realization through structured change management, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and post-implementation assessments.

β€’ Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and the reduction of technical or process debt, collaborating with enterprise architecture, integration, data, and automation teams as necessary.

β€’ Provide consultative, domain-level insights into forthcoming changes, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs, acting as a trusted advisor to business, clinical, and IT partners to support decision-making across portfolio governance and leadership forums.

β€’ Collaborate closely with Clinical Applications leadership, Training, and Informatics teams to ensure alignment of Revenue Cycle initiatives with enterprise workflows, documentation standards, reporting strategies, and end-user education, promoting consistent adoption, readiness for change, and system-wide optimization.

β€’ Ensure that assigned applications adhere to professional standards of practice, including clinical, financial, data security standards, HIPAA, legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.

β€’ Stay updated on developments in healthcare and information systems, as well as emerging healthcare trends.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year institution, or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in place of a Bachelor's Degree.

β€’ Must hold an active Epic certification in Revenue Cycle applications and is expected to obtain ITIL Foundation and SCRUM Product Owner certifications within six months of employment.

β€’ A minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in IT and healthcare, including at least two (2) years in IT infrastructure management, along with demonstrated experience in healthcare operations.

β€’ Must demonstrate deep expertise in healthcare IT systems, including Epic EHR and associated third-party applications, possess comprehensive knowledge of healthcare technical environments, and show strong proficiency in best practices for system analysis, documentation development, and statement of work creation.

β€’ Strong leadership skills are essential, including the ability to guide and assess team performance, nurture the development of leaders, manage competing priorities, and make complex decisions in fast-paced and evolving healthcare settings, while fostering collaboration through active listening and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace.

β€’ Must be capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical documentation, operational procedures, and relevant regulations, and must possess the ability to produce clear reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as present complex technical risks and roadmaps understandably to clinical and business leaders.

β€’ Must be able to complete work through continuous use of a computer for job responsibilities.

β€’ Must communicate frequently and effectively with others verbally, in writing, and via virtual meetings (including video).
