This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Aids in the formulation and execution of a comprehensive operations strategy.
• Cultivates expertise in the regulatory requirements associated with Alberta Regulation 194/2022.
• Establishes and nurtures effective relationships with contract partners.
• Works collaboratively with partners to enhance the processes that turn commercial contract terms into actionable operational plans.
• Engages with other departments that manage the financial aspects of these relationships.
• Monitors the relationships of CM with key stakeholders within the collection and consolidation system.
• Assists in supervising Common Collection System administrative and project specialists.
• Contributes to the creation of a thoroughly researched and strategically planned annual operations budget.
• Produces precise, timely, and data-driven reports.
• A Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent management experience in a relevant field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in leading recycling collection systems, including contracts, operating standards, performance metrics, and outcomes.
• Familiarity with procurement processes acquired through demonstrable hands-on experience.
• Experience and/or knowledge of First Nations consulting and contracting practices and processes will be regarded as an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and JIRA.
• Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities, encompassing negotiation, persuasion, and collaboration.
