This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Further enhancement of our rail and infrastructure portfolio, along with the growth of methodological and technological capabilities.
• Evaluation, optimization, and digitization of processes in infrastructure planning, operations, maintenance, and control.
• Creation of business, process, and target models aimed at digital transformation within infrastructure and rail settings.
• Design and execution of contemporary technology and data solutions (e.g., IoT, analytics, automation, signaling and control systems, energy systems).
• Assessment and further refinement of organizational, governance, and operational models in the context of infrastructure.
• Design and implementation of advanced steering, monitoring, and management systems for infrastructure portfolios.
• Project and program management across classical, hybrid, and agile environments.
• Preparation and facilitation of workshops, training sessions, and change management initiatives throughout the infrastructure value chain.
• Identification of emerging topics, data-driven business models, and development opportunities in the rail sector, with potential for scaling to other industries.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure, technology, mobility, and digital transformation.
• Exceptional academic qualifications (Master’s, MBA, PhD).
• Over 6 years of experience in consulting, project management, or the infrastructure sector (planning, operations, or maintenance) – preferably with initial leadership or steering responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating new business opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and delivering and scaling consulting and/or transformation projects.
• Robust strategic and conceptual thinking skills, with a comprehensive understanding of organizational, process, or operating models within the rail infrastructure domain.
• Extensive knowledge of consulting and project management methodologies, coupled with experience working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams from engineering, operations, procurement, production, and IT.
• Proactive, creative, possessing a strong sense of responsibility, and readiness to travel as project demands dictate.
• Relevant certifications (such as PMP, Prince2, Scrum, ITIL).
• Business-fluent in German and English; additional languages are a bonus.
