This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Lead and cultivate a team of Proposal Managers.
• Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and career advancement support.
• Oversee workload, capacity, and prioritization to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Stay actively involved in the proposal and budget processes.
• Deliver strategic guidance, problem-solving assistance, and hands-on leadership for complex or high-priority RFIs and RFPs.
• Perform line management responsibilities for team members assigned.
• Carry out supervisory duties including work scheduling, performance evaluations, career development, and preparation of training plans.
• Identify and address issues related to client inquiry requirements and Fortrea capabilities.
• Organize and facilitate strategic and operational calls regarding opportunities.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current and future technical and regulatory landscapes.
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of processes and deliverables.
• Provide training and mentorship to new and less experienced personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Experience in a CRO/pharma environment with a supervisory role or demonstrated people management skills.
• Exceptional customer service abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to be persistent while remaining tactful.
• Proficient computer skills – specifically, advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with proposal management software applications (e.g., Salesforce.com, Qvidian, Proposal Automation applications) is preferred.
• Proven text editing and writing capabilities in line with business unit and/or team expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong teamwork, communication (both written and verbal), and organizational skills.
• Established ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality of employee data and information while interacting with staff at all levels.
• Positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
