Bid & Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify, analyze, and qualify relevant business opportunities for Baastel.

• Coordinate the development of high-quality technical and financial proposals in collaboration with technical experts.

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships.

• Build, structure, and mobilize networks of experts to support opportunities and projects.

• Ensure hiring, budget tracking, and financial compliance for awarded contracts.

• Oversee project billing in collaboration with the Financial Assistant.

• Maintain strong and constructive relationships with clients and consultants.

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Baastel's quality standards.

• Proactively anticipate and resolve administrative and operational issues related to contracts.

• Ensure the quality and up-to-date status of data related to projects and consultants.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools and processes.

• Support the exchange of information and internal coordination of business development activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in management, business, administration, or a related field.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in business development and proposal writing, ideally in the international development sector or a related field.

• Preferred experience in coordinating technical and financial proposals for institutional donors (EU, World Bank, UN agencies, bilateral cooperation agencies, etc.).

• Previous experience in environmental and/or social and economic development topics is an asset.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: formatting in Word is essential; familiarity with Teams and OneDrive.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
