This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the newly established proposal enablement function at CDW, integrating Vetting Supervisors and the proposal Content team.
• Define and advance the AI enablement roadmap for the proposals organization.
• Design, pilot, and scale AI-driven workflows across vetting, content development, and proposal production.
• Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for the responsible use of AI in proposals.
• Assess the impact of AI and process enhancements, continuously refining strategies based on outcomes.
• Guide segment-aligned Vetting Supervisors in assessing inbound opportunities and making go/no-go decisions.
• Oversee the health of the vetting pipeline while upholding quality, compliance, and risk standards.
• Supervise the proposal Content team, including the Content Supervisor and the proposal content library.
• Develop strategies for creating reusable, high-quality, and up-to-date content, while promoting AI-assisted content generation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team across various segments.
• Manage capacity, workload distribution, and prioritization for the combined team.
• Recruit, onboard, retain, and nurture talent, supporting career advancement and succession planning.
• Act as the enablement liaison between proposals, sales, and CDW’s broader AI initiatives.
• Represent proposals in company-wide AI initiatives, effectively communicating the roadmap, progress, and successes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in proposal management, proposal operations, or a related field; experience with public-sector/government proposals is highly preferred.
• Proven, hands-on application of AI — including generative AI, automation, or AI-enabled tools — in real business workflows, preferably within proposals or content operations.
• Experience leading teams or supervisors, with a successful history of developing people and managing change.
• Strong capability to map, streamline, and standardize complex, cross-functional workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey AI and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem as well as proposal and content tools.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience with AI/LLM tools (such as Microsoft Copilot), prompt engineering, or RFP/proposal automation platforms.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in both private and public sectors, including compliance requirements for RFP/RFI.
• Experience managing a content library or knowledge base on a large scale.
• Background in change management or continuous improvement, with relevant experience or certification.
• Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of the plan.
