This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the daily operations of the project management team, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
• Establish employee objectives, delegate tasks, manage resource distribution, address escalations, and ensure all deadlines are achieved.
• Provide active coaching to direct reports, assisting them in overcoming complex project challenges and fostering their professional growth.
• Decompose intricate issues into actionable steps, assign them to the appropriate team members for information gathering, consolidate the findings, and collaborate with your team to prioritize these challenges.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements and product automation to boost client satisfaction and scalability.
• Onboard new employees, assess team progress, offer ongoing feedback, and proactively escalate team-related issues as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders across functions to ensure that project execution aligns with organizational priorities.
• Interact directly with senior stakeholders on the client side, particularly in large enterprise financial services institutions, serving as a strategic point of contact and escalation.
• Exemplify ownership of the company culture and employee engagement by proactively sharing ideas for enhancing the work environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or professional certification (PgMP, MSP, PMP) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a People Manager, with a strong emphasis on team development, enablement, and mentorship.
• Between 7 to 10 years of experience in program/project management or customer-facing roles within large enterprises, preferably with experience in Fortune 500 and financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams managing large, complex enterprise accounts (specific experience supporting financial services institutions is highly preferred).
• Outstanding stakeholder management abilities, with a proven track record of engaging, influencing, and building relationships with senior leaders across functions and senior client-side executives.
• Experience in independently addressing medium-term challenges and offering sustainable solutions that can be standardized for future issues.
• Strong independent judgment and problem-solving capabilities, able to synthesize complex situations to support your team.
• Familiarity with various marketing technologies (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
• A background in digital marketing and experience with technical SaaS products is highly preferred.
